OCA have been working with the Midsteeple Quarter, a community-led organisation in Dumfries. The project is an effort to reimagine the urban core and bring people back into the town centre, aiming to combat the economic decline which Dumfries has suffered in recent years. This study looks ahead and imagines a future phase in which two vacant plots on the High Street could be redeveloped into mixed community, commercial, and residential uses.
